The Holidays are coming to Surrey Quays!
Surrey Quays Shopping Centre has really got into the Christmas spirit this year and is celebrating in style.
In addition to the giant snow globe attraction which stands fifteen feet high and provides a unique and free experience for shoppers, on Friday the famous Coca-Cola truck was in the centre’s car park all day!
The much-loved Christmas truck is the star of the legendary Coca-Cola ‘Holidays Are Coming’ TV advertisements, with a cult following across the globe. The truck took a pit stop at Surrey Quays to bring a touch of Christmas magic to the people of Rotherhithe, who were treated to Christmas carols, free giveaways and a chance to have their photo taken with the iconic truck.
Ian Moore, Centre Manager said ‘It was great to have the famous Coca-Cola truck at the centre; it certainly looked impressive with all its illumination and shoppers queued to have their photo taken stood next to this.”
The centre’s giant snow globe attraction is in the centre until Friday 23rd December. It is completely free to enter, and shoppers also receive a free photo of their experience to take away with them; donations are invited to raise money for the local Surrey Docks Farm which the centre already supports by sponsoring its Young Farmers Club.
